Holy Trinity Church

Project Name:

Holy Trinity Church

Project Location:

Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Client:

Fisher German

Holy Trinity Church was completed in 1840 situated in Ashby. It is a dynamic church that is active in the local community.

Cremin Construction were engaged by Fisher German, Property Consultants, to redecorate the interior of the church. The walls are constructed using lime plaster and the conditions quite cold as you’d expect from an old high ceiled building.

The project used specialist mineral paint that allows the surface to breathe, with a specialist scaffolding company carefully erecting an internal scaffold system for the decorators to access the high areas and work safely.

This involved:

  • Erecting full scaffolding to access the high areas
  • Full preparatory work to prime the surfaces
  • Carry out lime plaster repairs and redecorate

When commissioning the redecorating project, the PCC understood that a range of skills and expertise would need to be brought together. From the outset, it was clear that there was an enthusiasm for the work involved and good appreciation of what the PCC, as client, wanted to achieve. In writing this letter, the expression of thanks extends to you and all those involved in the efficient coordination and supervision of the work and its safe delivery. Please pass on our thanks to the team that you assembled for the job. It was an enjoyable experience to work with them and you on this project.
