The rebuild of a Salvation Army Hall following an arson attack.
This was a complex project that maximised the team’s various trades and skills. We completely reconstructed the previous building, incorporating stunning features including huge A frames to create a vast vaulted ceiling
We dry lined walls and installed space saving underfloor heating throughout. Internally the building undertook major alterations including a new larger kitchen, a second hall to enable the facility to host more than one event, and the supply of ample storage. Despite project changes and additions, the building was completed on time and on budget.
In recognition of our commitment to the project, we were invited to the official opening and presented with a special edition Salvation Army coin.
The officer in charge of the centre, said: ’It is a real milestone for us. The centre looks amazing, so much better than we could have expected.’
